BankInvest’s venture fund BI New Energy Solutions, has sold all shares in the company BioGasol - which has developed a breakthrough 2nd generation bio-ethanol technology - to Fjord Capital Partners

BioGasol’s Sustainable Ethanol Solution – Cost effectiveness and worldwide flexibility of the process technology convinces

BioGasol has developed a technology concept within lignocellulosic biofuels also known as 2. generation bioethanol.

The solutions are cost effective and sustainable to the environment and has been successfully proven in a pilot plant since August 2006.

We are currently working on the "BornBioFuel" project, which will demonstrate BioGasols proprietary cellulosic ethanol (or 2. generation ethanol) technology at a semi-industrial scale. The project is partially funded by the Danish Government under the EUDP programme.

In the US, BioGasol and Pacific Ethanol received a grant from the US Department of Energy in 2008 to build a cellulosic ethanol demonstration plant at Boardman, Oregon.

During the COP 15 climate summit in Copenhagen December 2009 we will be present at the Bright Green Expo at Forum. 

BioGasol was founded in 2006 and we are growing fast towards the global market place for renewable energy solutions.
