BioGasol has developed enabling technologies for lignocellulosic biofuels, also known as 2. generation bioethanol, including the high yielding CarbofracTMpretreatment reactor system and the fermentation PentofermTM process featuring the unique PentocrobeTMthermophilic microorganism, which has the ability to convert all lignocellulosic sugars simultaneously.
The solutions are cost effective and sustainable to the environment and have been successfully proven at pilot our pilot plant and demonstration facilities.

Activities
We are currently working on the "BornBioFuel2" project, which will demonstrate BioGasols proprietary technology in a coherent process at a semi-industrial scale (Partially funded by the Danish Energy Agency / EUDP).
BioGasol also participates in the biorefinery project "Suprabio" (supported by EU / FP7) and the biogas yield boosting project "Fibermax" (together with Aalborg University and supported by Energinet.dk / PSO) .
Finally, but not least, we are also in the process of supplying pretreatment units for industrial customers as well as performing pretreatment testing of various feedstock and processes.
